I think this was supposed to be about a kid and a dead spider. I got distracted by the creepy child mannequins that haunt my camera and swapped the kid for them...

New Books

I've got a couple of new books floating around at the moment. The 'Santa is coming to..' series and interior pencils for The Boxcar Children.

The Santa range grows every year, with more and more cities covered. New titles released this month include - New York, Boston, Chicago, Texas, California, Philadelphia, Toronto, Washington, Florida, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Louisiana, Michigan, Vancouver, Arizona, San Fransisco, Ohio, The Carolinas, The Rockies, New England and Portland.... oh, and Melbourne and Sydney (Not sure of the dates for these two yet).. Fellow illustrators Katherine Kirkland and Jim Mitchell worked on some of the city spreads. All the covers can be found at Sourcebooks.

The Boxcar kids is great fun to do - We did The Garden Thief last year and now have The Boxcar Children Beginning out... Finishing off a third book for Albert Whitman this week.
