At the edge of the world (or the last day of 29)

Nothing exciting this time - just some doodles I did over the holidays (Except the last one which is a post in itself). I did plan on working on lovely scenic views of Stafford and its surrounding countryside, but I might have drank my weight in wine instead... The dude with the microphone was inspired from watching the Bad Brains dvd.

Currently listening to Scratch Acid and contemplating tomorrow... thirty sodding years old. I'm sure I had something terribly profound to say but it got lost in the self-pitying cacophony of misery inside my head.

Loads new work coming in the new year. When I'm thirty. Thirty.

Festicles

Yes, I know, I stole the sky from the other snowman picture...enclosed is the all new Robert Dunn christmas card. Although I posted my cards yesterday, there's every chance I might have forgotten some of you...lost addresses, bizarre religions, akward silences - you know, the usual thing. So feel free to download this jpeg and print as a card from me. On the other side, pick from these fantastic Robert christmas messages...

'Happy christmas neckface, sorry about the sores!'
'You owe me ten quid, fucker!'
'Honest, I was going to phone...it just felt a little weird y'know...I mean, I barely know you and all'

So there we go...it's nearly over for another year. Indulge and go mad and be merry...keep an open mind and be nice to Mary in class...tell Sau Yi to take a deep breath and for Matt to stop growing...see you all when I'm 30!

Giant coal

Taken from a sketch of an old christmas decoration I once bought. The original idea was to have trees in the background and a tiny figure in the foreground, however, my giant snowman now looks more at home in the tundra episode of The Mighty Boosh.

It's as festive as I'm gonna get and it reminds me of trudging through the snow with Alex (In the days when we actually got cold winters). I like it. Two more to come once I get round to them.

If you want some festive cheer this year head over to the Nagls...
